Q: Hey Josu, tell us something about you.
A: I am a Digital Nomad and Yogi, passionate about the online world. For the past seven years, my dream has been to be free and not dependent on a physical location. I have visited 37 countries while working with my computer. Two years ago, I discovered the practice of Yoga and meditation, which has helped me to quiet my mind, increase my concentration, and improve my abilities.
I have found that the combination of digital nomadism and yoga has enabled me to live a life of freedom and balance. My journey has allowed me to explore the world while furthering my own personal growth. I have had the opportunity to connect with people from different cultures and learn new skills. Through this, I have developed an appreciation for the global community and a newfound sense of inner peace.
Q: Where did you study and which is your profile?
A: I studied Mechanical Engineering, and I spent seven years designing and calculating wind turbine components. While studying for my degree, I also learned to program and design websites. I went on to create a digital agency, but ten years ago I realized that the future would allow everyone to create their own websites, so I shifted to becoming a manufacturer of website templates. Ten years ago, I created my first template in WordPress, and from there I developed new products and software. I am currently the founder and CEO of WP Configurator, which is one of the most intuitive product configurators on the market. Additionally, I am working on web3 and NFT projects.
Q: What will your job be at TurinLabs?
A: My job is going to be developing and implementing strategies to increase the company's customer base. I am responsible for researching potential new clients and markets, as well as identifying and creating new business opportunities. I am eager to take on this responsibility and use my skills and knowledge to help the company achieve its goals.
Q: What is your main motivation to work with us?
A: I met Turinlabs a few months ago and worked on the development of the TurinPay - WooCommerce plugin. It is a product that I really liked and that I saw had a great future. I believe that blockchain, web3, and payments with cryptocurrencies are the future; they are technologies that are gradually establishing themselves and they will eventually replace traditional methods.
The TurinPay - WooCommerce plugin is a great example of how blockchain and web3 technologies are being utilized to provide users with an innovative and secure way to make payments with cryptocurrencies. With its intuitive user interface and advanced features, the plugin allows merchants to seamlessly integrate cryptocurrency payments into their stores. It is a great way to stay ahead of the curve and capitalize on the potential of using blockchain and web3 technologies.
Q: What are your general thoughts about this Web3 world?
A: Web3 is not the future, it is already the present. Companies that do not begin to adapt to web3 will likely miss out on potential opportunities in the future. We are currently at the same moment as when the internet was born, presenting us with a world of exciting possibilities. If handled correctly, great things can be achieved.
The potential for web3 technology is immense and it is only going to grow in the coming years. Companies should make an effort to learn about the benefits and potential of web3 technology and be ready to embrace it. The sooner they do so, the more competitive advantage they will have. Doing so will allow them to take advantage of the opportunities in this new, innovative space.
Let’s keep building!
